IT'S EASY to read a book, find resources online and/or discuss common childhood stages and behavioural issues with family and friends. The difficulty lies in applying those suggestions or ideas to your situation. Every family, and more importantly every child is unique and at the very least deserves to have adults recognize and work with their character and personality.
I've had many years of experience (and worked with close to 300 families!) so I have seen just about everything; from shy, timid pre-adolescents who lack the self esteem to bring themselves to what we know is their full potential....to the 2 year old bully whose parents are apt to get daily concerned glances from pre-school teachers or peers.
